Thank you for your interest in Meeting Street Academy. Choosing the best educational setting for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. We hope that the included information answers many of your questions about our school and its programs.
MSA offers a life-changing opportunity to its students and their families. The program is rigorous and requires intensive participation of the students’ families as we recognize the family as a partner in the education of each child. As part of the admissions process, parents/caregivers must sign a partnership agreement which outlines how Meeting Street Academy and its families partner with each other to provide the best educational opportunity for the students.
If you have questions about the admissions process, please contact us at:

These applicants will be asked to complete an application with required documentation including:
- The child’s long-form birth certificate

Details will be provided in the email and online.
Once you have been marked eligible, you will make an online payment of $10.00.
Upon review of a completed file, a child may be invited for a school visit. Children will spend time in classrooms and complete an assessment. At least one parent or caregiver is asked to attend with their child. The school will notify families of a school visit date, if applicable. Dates for school visits are listed below, students will be assigned a date based on birthday and gender.
- School visits will be announced October 15, 2018 for the 2019-2020 applications.
Once the school visit has occurred, children being considered for acceptance may be contacted for a partnership meeting with a member of our school staff. All parents/caregivers are required to attend. This is the time to learn more about MSA’s distinctive education program and administration, to state your reasons for seeking enrollment at MSA, and to discuss the child’s curriculum, extracurricular interests, special needs and expectations for student life.
Each child’s file is reviewed by the Admissions Committee. All discussions regarding applications are held in strict confidence. Admission decisions consider the child’s potential for success in MSA’s program. Families will be notified in writing of the Admission Committee’s decision. Reasons for the decision will be kept confidential within the committee, and the decision of the Admission Committee is final. The school reserves the right to retract an offer of admission to a child previously accepted if the final transcript reveals performance or behavior that is unacceptable to MSA’s standard for admission or if any information on the original application is found to be false.
